To the most feared yet anticipated New Year:
Several consecutive periods of you have departed ere I began to comprehend the precise reason as to why you are indeed feared, hated, and slandered.
In my personal sensory experience of the world and its many idiosyncrasies, I have come to form a veritable enmity and intense battle of wills with you.
You are often ill-informed, ignorant, or perhaps naive; the events that occur with each of your appearances yields a greater anxiety and deeper terror due to your sensitive egotistical desire to change that which cannot be tampered with.
However, it is with a heavy heart and crestfa

Be Merry as the Dickens!
Hello there, my fine fellows:
I've the pleasure of talking to you yet again around the Christmas season. It is, as yet, a whole se'ennight from this day, yet I want to give you some Christmas cheer by making available some pictures I have within my possession.
They exhibit three of five trees which have the fortune to decorate our house, and are detailed forthwith.
Tree the First is bedecked in pastel Victorian finery, while Tree the Second is country primitive with very little glamor. Tree the Third stands in our living room in the view of passersby through the front window.
I sincerely pray you enjoy them, and find yourself inspired for

“Why don’t you ask Dan?” Jule responded after failing at her attempts to save the pickles from their cage.
Just five minutes ago my hungry belly was determined to eat pickles. The jar itself was determined to be unopened. So, I set my pride aside for another day, walked out of my flat, across the hall to my neighbor. And here I stand before Jule in her threshold of her flat, asking her to save these innocent pickles.
She couldn’t.
We’re both helplessly weak against jars.
“Dan? The new hot guy?” I replied to her casual response.
“Yes.” She laughed, cradling the glass jar i
We need more love in the world again. I am so tired of people who are so hateful of others because of differences.
I say this because two of my closest friends, who are a gay couple, recently were hospitalized due to being attacked for walking down a street holding hands. This has shaken me and all of my dance team to our core.
I am going to keep this short because I am exhausted and too sad to go on. I have been at the hospital for hours sitting with my dear friends and helping to calm them. These men are some of the kindest, funniest, most talented, most loving people I know, and in addition, they are human just like all of us. To see the

There's No Place Like Home!
Well my friends,
After a long time away at the hospital, Dad is finally at home. The dog, Patches, gave him a big greeting. The likes the rest of us didn't get whenever we came home from a day out.
Dad is now resting comfortably in the recliner in the den, with the dog near him.
He seems much more relaxed now that he's home. And I'm glad about it. He's less stressed here and he'll be able to get a VNA to the house to check everything now that he's not in the rehabilitation hospital anymore.
He agrees, "there's no place like home!"
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts and such; they were and are very much appreciated. I believ

Update on Dad's Recovery
EDIT:
Hey folkses!
Visited Dad today and he's doing pretty well! He was very awake and happy to see us. And glad to have his diet A&W root beer and some greek yogurt since he's said that the food at the hospital is starting to taste bad. Although his tastebuds are a little off in their interpretation of the food, so even the yogurt tastes a bit different to him.
When we spoke to him on the phone tonight, he said he managed to walk down the hallway without a walker so he's definitely improving. I think he's trying really hard to improve because he doesn't want to have to go into the rehab hospital. He wants to be home, and I can't blame

Chloe's Gift - Sonnet
A nymph of sweetness and of cheerful light
That adds a smile to anybody's face
A person who evokes a great delight
In those that understand her form and grace
For ever shall we rally to her case
That in her health a star of hope arise
And that with health her body do enlace
So such an illness meet its own demise
For hopeful are we to gain paradise
When all seems lost and never in control
Just watch the faith betwinkle in her eyes
And watch her dance to music in her soul
So I believe she's here to play a part
For she is strong and gifted in her heart

1) My job is slowing down a little... don't know how much longer we'll be there.
2) Was in the ER yesterday from 4:30 am to about 2 pm: at about 2 am, I woke up with a squeezing pain all around the middle of my stomach. I thought I was hungry so I ate some cereal. But later, I threw it up, and thought I had to go number 2 or something, but nothing I did helped. It got to be so bad that I woke up my folks and explained what was happening, groaning through all my pain. Finally, we decided my dad would drive me to the ER, almost thought about calling an ambulance but I said no. Got in, waited forever after they put me in a room, all th

1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?
If I can see them, talk to them, touch them, and others can do the same, then they’re there.
2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?
No one is afraid of the dark; they’re afraid of what might be lurking there. But I’m neither afraid of the dark or what’s in it depending on where I am, so I’d say 1; I can’t sleep well unless it’s dark.
3. The person you would never want to meet?
Donald Trump, scratch that, I’d like to meet him and give him a piece of my mind to fe
I know we've both been gone for a long time. I apologize. It's been really crazy lately. Drama surrounding my biological father has been overwhelming and trying to keep our house from being destroyed by our three tornado children has been even harder to manage when thrown with the drama, so that's cool.
My main reason was to come here and let you all know we're still alive and doing alright. Also, today (August 2nd) was our dearest Anneliese Ivy's 4th birthday, and wow have the years flown by. She is the light of our lives, and I can't believe that in just a few weeks, our baby girl will be off to school! My one wish is that she won't be dis

Hey Chloe! I'm sorry this is late, but thanks for the birthday message and the llama! They were both really sweet. Hope things are going well for you and your family!
